Well, it is a fun way of saying “little furry animal” in French and it is the nickname of a little Chihuahua named Bello who provides us with inspiration. He is adorably cute, and small, and furry…and has quite a character too. His friends Sinju, Mr Yam, and the lovebirds all contribute to this inspiration on a daily basis. Our designs are created by Marina van Eetvelde, combining her European perspective with the worldly freshness of her travels and multi- cultural background. We are a California company after all! How does Sustainability figure into your business model? We care greatly about the environment, and animals, from penguins and pandas to dolphins, seals, and whales, feature prominently in our designs. We are working on a fully sustainable edition of our clothing lines featuring organic apparel. In the meantime, we strive to use American-made apparel which is manufactured under this country’s environmental protection standards and cuts down on emissions due shipping from overseas. We also use the latest digital printing technology which produces no chemical waste and results in great colors. Do you use high-quality garments? Absolutely, we use only the highest quality, American-made, sweatshop-free American Apparel shirts and sweatshirts, made of 100% ring-spun combed cotton. We support American industry, and we also want your garments to last as long as possible. Our sweatshirts for teens are made overseas by Alstyle Apparel, who guarantee their manufacturing under the highest workplace standards, decent health and safety requirements, fair pay and conditions, and care for the environment. Whenever possible we will use American-made garments since it is better for our economy as well as the environment as the products do not need to be shipped long distances. We digitally print our shirts, one at a time, in California. Do you have an organic line of apparel? We are working on an organic line and are looking forward to offering you our same quality in a fully sustainable edition in the very near future. Do you wholesale your shirts to resellers? Orders of in-stock items will be shipped within three business days using USPS First Class mail or a courier service for expedited orders. How much does shipping cost?
